About KeeperSafe
FOR JOURNALISTS, BLOGGERS & PODCASTERS
One-sentence summary
KeeperSafe is a verifying photo and video backup app for iPhone and iPad that copies SD or CFexpress cards to a drive you trust and re-reads every file against a SHA-256 hash before the backup is called done.
The longer version
A photographer's card is the only copy of a shoot until the files have been moved off it. A lost wedding card is no money and a destroyed reputation; a lost trip is irreplaceable. Most backup tools — including a plain drag in Files.app — trust that the write succeeded. KeeperSafe doesn't. Every file is staged, hashed with SHA-256, and re-read against that hash before it is committed to the destination folder. A corrupt copy never reaches the final archive.
The app is intentionally local-only. It has no account, makes no network requests, runs no analytics, and includes no third-party tracking SDKs. Backups happen between the card you insert and the drive you choose, and nothing else.
