1. Who this covers

This policy describes how the KeeperSafe iOS app and this website (keepersafeapp.com) handle information. KeeperSafe is an independent app for backing up photos and video from memory cards and drives.

2. Information the app collects

None. KeeperSafe does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. Specifically, the app has:

• No account, login, or sign-up.
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking.
• No advertising or advertising identifiers.
• No third-party SDKs that collect data.
• No crash-reporting service that transmits data off your device.

3. What the app accesses on your device

To do its job, KeeperSafe works with files you explicitly point it at. All of this stays on your device and the destinations you choose:

• Folders and drives you select. When you choose a source (a memory card or folder) or a destination (an external drive or a location on your device), iOS grants the app access to exactly that location through the system file picker. KeeperSafe never browses your device on its own.
• Your photos and video. The app reads files from the source you picked and writes copies to the destination you picked. These files are never uploaded anywhere — the copy happens entirely on your hardware.
• A local backup record. KeeperSafe keeps a private database on your device listing which files it has backed up, their sizes, timestamps, and content hashes, so it can resume safely and verify your archive. This record stays on your device and is removed if you delete the app.

4. The network

KeeperSafe does not connect to the internet. It has no servers, sends no requests, and has no mechanism to transmit your photos or any other data. Backups happen locally between your card and your drive.

5. This website

This site is a plain set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts or fonts — everything it serves comes from this domain. We do not build a profile of visitors.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare and a self-hosted web server. As part of normal, secure operation, these systems may briefly process standard connection information (such as your IP address and the page requested) to deliver the page and protect against abuse. This information is used only to operate and protect the site, is not linked to any app activity, and is not sold or shared.

6. Children's privacy

KeeperSafe is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Because the app collects no data, we don't anticipate material changes — but if the app ever gains a feature that touches your information, this page will say so plainly before that feature ships.
